And this time, some tips for beginners in knowledge management activities in the organization. Based on an article by knowledge management consultant Mark Friedman.
Start by analyzing the organization's strategic content. Remember that knowledge worthy of management is that which advances the company's goals and objectives.
Don't try to work too broadly. Begin with a focused, well-defined topic, preferably in an environment where the impact of knowledge management will be significant.
Knowledge management requires a great deal of attention to the people around you, as it is an organizational cultural process.
The essence of knowledge management is not technology, and yet, technology is an essential component in the solution.
Knowledge management is an organizational process that must constantly be measured for success, expanded, enriched, and ensured for its use.
The purpose of knowledge management is to simplify organizational work methods (at the end of the process) and not to make them more complex. Make sure this is indeed the case.
