What happens when Knowledge Management stops being “someone else’s responsibility” and becomes a shared global movement?

Last year, the answer was inspiring:
🎉 22 countries celebrating KM Global Week 2025
🗓️ 60+ events worldwide — from conferences and think tanks to local meetups, university sessions, workplace activities, and even KM riddles
⏰ 160+ hours of shared learning across 6 continents
🗣️ Activities held in 9 languages
🎥 20+ recordings and outputs continuing to spread knowledge beyond the week itself
👥 Many thousands of participants — from students and newcomers to global KM leaders.

And this year, we want to go even further.
KM Global Week 2026 is not a conference.
It is a worldwide initiative led by Knowledge Management Global Network, in which people across countries, organizations, networks, universities, schools, and communities organize activities that increase awareness, practical understanding, and engagement with Knowledge Management.
Some activities are large.
Some are small.
A panel discussion. A local meetup. A lunch session. A podcast. A lessons learned exercise. A student activity. A storytelling session. A KM game. A simple conversation that opens new thinking.

Every activity matters. 🌱
To help inspire more ideas and collaborations, we are launching a global series where KMers from around the world will share examples, concepts, formats, and practical ideas that others can easily adapt and run locally.

If you believe knowledge should move people, organizations, and societies forward — we would love you to join us.
Because awareness starts locally.
But together, it becomes a movement.

🗓️ P.S. Our first KM Global Week 2026 planning meeting will take place on June 3rd at 12:00 PM UTC.
Whether you already have ideas to contribute, want to collaborate, or simply wish to listen, learn, and be inspired- you are warmly invited to join. Feel free to contact me directly. 🌍
